The teamwork required to successfully train youngsters (both horse and humans) to be competent in three disciplines of horsemanship makes KSS a truly unique experience. Many of the students, competitors, boarders and supporters have been with KSS for over a decade. From the older riders teaching younger children how to properly groom and be responsible for the horses in their care, to the parents and owners that provide trailering, food, photographs, schedule cards for the coach and grooms, to "Mr. Fix It "(Phil) that floats around the barn and show grounds helping out wherever necessary, it is truly a team effort. Sometimes traveling for hours to practice and participate in clinics, many students and friends take vacation so that schedules can be cleared to travel to competitions and open schoolings in caravan fashion. The camaraderie and support given by all the individuals involved in the KSS family are second to none! |
